One Direction Set to Debut TV Series [PHOTOS]

The One Direction second film isn't the only thing worth anticipating. Reports claim the British boy band is working on a television series for their beloved "Directioners." This would only mean that fans of 1D will finally get their daily dose of Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Zayn Malik.

After countless world tours, chart topping hits and a box office movie, it seems the boys of One Direction are working on something even better - a television series. Reports claim that a group of writers in Los Angeles are working for a musical/comedy television series for the boys.

According to the report, the main idea for the series is that the boys are currently living in LA where they help friends with their problems. Of course, during each episode the boys' music would be featured.

"A new TV show is also being discussed. At this stage the pilot sees them living in Los Angeles by the beach. Comedy writers will be working on it, so that it really gives all the boys a chance to shine, and be a great advert for their new music. The show will be peppered with guest cameos, too," stated the report by Pop Crush, adding, "The plan is for the boys to see a pilot in the spring."

"Directioners" would know this isn't the first time a television series starring the boys has been reported. Back in 2012 of March, Ryan Seacrest of E! had revealed that studio executives were showing interest in the boys for a television series.

Right now all fans can do is sit back, relax and wait. As for the boys, Niall, Harry, Zayn, Louis and Liam are currently in the middle of their tour, "Where We Are." In addition, the boys are working on another world tour for the year 2015 with the title, "On the Road Again."
