The new season of "Orange is the New Black" promises to be more compelling than the first season. Netflix has released a video in which actors can be seen describing the new season in three words.

The actors say that  [it's] "extraordinary," "turbulent," "rock," "dangerous," [it's] "real," "sexier", "wild," "deep," "deeper," "insane," "scary," "revenge," "shocking," "crazier," "hilarious," "funnier," and more.  The actors also say that there is a lot of cussing.

Netflix has also released the trailer of season two. It features Piper Chapman in a solitary confinement. This solo existence in the prison is as a result of beating-up Pennsatucky in the first season finale. The new character Vee can also be seen in this trailer. The trailer suggests that Vee and Red have a problematic past history.

According to Entertainment Weekly, "the alliances shift thanks to a new prisoner [Vee] who turns Litchfield into a 'summer camp from hell'." The trailer provides a glimpse of both fun and drama that can be expected in season two.

Jenji Kohan, creator of the show, has said that the upcoming season will address the realities of the prison. "We had a theme for season 2. A little darker, a little more fractured. We wanted to explore the groups one at a time," Kohan said to Entertainment Weekly. "It was getting a little summer-campy, and we wanted to address the realities that this is prison."

As previously reported, the new season will be telling backstories of other characters, and will no longer just focus on Chapman's character. The episodes showing the backstories of Lorna, Taystee, and Poussey are expected to be the highlight of the new season, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Recently, Laura Prepon, who plays Alex Vause," took to Instagram to inform that "Orange is the New Black" has been renewed for Season 3. She will be appearing in four episodes of Season 2 and will be seen leaving Litchfield. However, she is set to return as a series regular in Season 3.

Netflix is scheduled to release all the episodes of "Orange is the New Black" Season 2 on June 06, 2014.
