Xplore's XC6: The 'Most Rugged And Highest-Performing' Tablet at $5299

XC6 DMSR has been touted by Xplore Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: XPLR) previously as the most rugged and highest-performing tablet in the industry.
This tablet is powered by 4th Gen Intel processor Core i5 featuring readable screen even in direct sunlight, which is made possible by the phone's 1300 NIT display.
XC6 has a resistive multitouch that makes running toughest apps easier with the use of the distinct analog matrix resistive multitouch screen which its maker engineered. That is why users can use the device even while wearing gloves.
Also, the XC6 has an in-plane switching screen that improves contrast, uniforms colors and makes various viewing angles possible. The latest XC6 is run by Windows 7 Pro or Windows 8.1 OS and the tablet is priced at $5299.
President and CEO Mark Holleran of Xplore Technologies said XC6 is the highest performance and toughest product the company ever developed. It can be employed in environments such as freezing rain, desert or under any extreme condition. The tablet is expected to last longer, which means high ROI for the customers.
XC6 has undergone third-party highest rugged standard testing and goes beyond the usual MIL-STD-810G durability standard against moisture, dust, extreme temperature and drops.
The 4G LTE - ready tablet is certified dust and waterproof, sports with 256 GB of configurable storage and can last longer with its battery life that has been increased to 30 percent.
The XC6 family of tablets can also be used even when wearing gloves. The device can manage, even when soaked. For data security, it has fingerprint reader, optional Computrace and Trusted Platform Module (TPM )1.2.
According to Chairman and CEO Philip Sassower of Xplore, they will expand their products while staying as the lead in manufacturing the most rugged tablets and continue delivering the ultrarugged computer tablet technology.
In its 15 years, Xplore will go on developing most advanced solutions in mobile computing for industries that operate in the toughest environments.
Xplore's XC6 can be used for various industries and applications, including hazardous operations like explosion-prone locations, military operations, oil and gas environment, transportation, utilities, construction, distribution, warehousing and other harsh environments.
The XC6 is flexible and upgrades require minimal downtime and low cost. The tablet comes with a three-year international warranty.
