Vhoto Launches Intuitive iOS Camera App that Picks Best Photo from Videos

Vhoto Inc., a startup software developer company has come with a camera app that can pick the best snapshots out of videos.

The new Vhoto camera app uses the company's proprietary technology that can differentiate blur, contrast, faces, smiles and also user's intuitiveness to extract the best photos from a video, reported CNET.

Moreover, Vhoto's photo picking ability gets better with time, the more he/she uses the application, as it learns the user's taste and accordingly picks top quality pictures from a video.

Consumer can also import videos from library to pick pictures via Vhoto. Apart from extracting pictures, the app also houses new 'Computer Vision' technology that can snap good quality pictures from Apple devices (front as well as back cameras) under any lighting conditions (day or night).

As of now, the app is available in Apple App Store (iTunes) only. As of now, there is no word on whether the company has any plans for launching similar app in other platforms like Google Android and Microsoft Windows Phone. [Interested users can head to Apple iTunes for Vhoto app, here]

Key UI Features of Vhoto:

-      Pick top-notch pictures from any previous videos (not necessarily taken via Vhoto).

-      New 'Computer Vision' technology that can take good quality images from Apple devices under any lighting conditions.

-      Offers unique filter and editing tools to modify pictures.

-      Can save, share and send photos via social network sites - Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and also attach pictures to e-mails or text messages as well.

-      App's new social network will also let users to find/follow hashtag or topics shared by other Vhoto members.
