Micromax Prepping Tegra 4i-Powered 4G LTE Smartphone; Launch Likely in June

Indigenous smartphone maker Micromax is reportedly prepping a new 4G smartphone, which would make its debut in June this year.
A new tweet by the leakster @LeaksterInc revealed the purported smartphone of Micromax, which is reportedly in the work. The tweet also disclosed that the forthcoming Micromax 4G smartphone will be powered by a Nvidia Tegra 4i processor.
Although the tweet did not contain any other information about the Micromax's handset, a report by Gizbot revealed that the new 4G smartphone will feature 4.7 inch display with 720x1280 resolution coated by Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and will be powered by 1.7GHz Nvidia Tegra 4i processor (Cortex-A9).
Other stipulated features of the new Micromax unnamed smartphone include 1GB RAM, 8.0-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5.0-megapixel front facing camera. According to the report, the handset is likely to hit the smartphone market by May or June his year. If reports ring true, the new device of Micromax would be the second LTE handset offering from a local brand.
Meanwhile, Micromax's Canvas 2 Colours (A120) made online debut in the country. The handset which is priced under 10,000, sports a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 720x1280 (HD) pixels and is shipped with Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS. It is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB RAM and 4GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB).
Other stipulated features of the handset include 8.0-megapixel camera (with flash, HD video recording), 2.0-megapixel snapper on the front and 2000 mAh battery. It comes with preloaded apps such as Games (Burn the Rope, Fukrey, Frog Brust), Kingsoft, Getit, Opera Mini, M! Live, Mi games, Reverie Phonebook and Smartpad. The new Micromax Canvas 2 Colours smartphone is available in dark grey and white colour variants.
