Actress Anushka Sharma has turned down an ad film with alleged boyfriend Virat Kohli.

But before you come to any conclusions, it was the actress' packed schedule that made her say no to the shampoo commercial with Kohli. Anushka is currently shooting for her debut production "NH 10" in Jodhpur, and failed to find any spare time for the ad, which had previously featured her and the cricketer.

The actress is apparently is working hard to wrap up "NH 10" on a set deadline, and from May she is expected to move on to Zoya Akhtar's "Dil Dhadakne Do", which will be shot on a cruise liner extensively. Hence, she hardly has any time to accommodate anything else, a source informed Mumbai Mirror.

The actress' spokesperson also confirmed the news of Anushka missing out on the advertisement.

"Despite her best efforts it was impossible for her to accommodate this ad as her film schedule was locked way in advance. The brand waited till the last moment to see if something could be worked out but it was just not possible," Sharma's spokesperson told the daily.

Meanwhile, the 25-year-old's refusal left the ad team in quandary but they finally approached fellow actress Ileana D'Cruz and sealed the deal. Now, the "Main Tera Hero" star will be seen opposite Kohli in the shampoo advertisement.

It should be noted that Sharma and Kohli's romance blossomed, after the duo first featured in the ad together. The pair was then spotted together enjoying a drive, just days after featuring in the ad, leading to obvious dating speculations. And now, reports of the couple's relationship are all over the news, with the two celebs spotted in different locations together.
