‘Scandal’ Season 3 Finale [Episode 18] Spoilers: Very Shocking Last Moment in ‘The Price of Free and Fair Election’

An explosion is expected as there is a ticking bomb in the final episode, "The Price of Free and Fair Election," of "Scandal" Season 3. However, it looks like the explosive content of the final season is not only due to the detonation of the big bomb. Viewers can expect to see some shocking twists in the episode.  

Scott Foley, who portrays Jake in "Scandal," has said that there will be extreme, divisive reactions to the final moment of the episode. He also warns that Twitter will explode.  He said to The Hollywood Reporter: ""This final moment will be divisive. Some people will think, 'Thank God, yes, that's exactly what we wanted to see happen.' Other people will be up in arms."

"Twitter will explode. Explode! Last season it was the "dad" moment. This season, it's not so much an, Oh my God!' -- you're either going to love it or you're going to be up in arms." Foley feels that there will more people who will be up in arms after seeing the final moment of the final episode of "Scandal" Season 3.

The Hollywood Reporter quotes Kerry Washington, who plays Olivia Pope, as saying that the final moment is "very shocking."  

As reportedly previously, the final episode of "Scandal" Season is set on Election Day. Fitz and Sally will do everything possible to win the election, as there is nothing "off-limits" for them. TV Guide reveals that a lot of people's life, including Olivia's, will be in jeopardy.

Meanwhile, seeing her father, Rowan, battle for his life, Olivia will try to understand her mother's motive, perhaps to stop her from harming more people. In the previous episode, Mom Pope managed to sneak inside Pope & Associate office and attacked Rowan.

Darby Stanchfield, who plays Abby, has indicated to Entertainment Weekly that there are multiple-cliffhangers in the season finale.
