Yamaha Fazer, FZ and FZ-S Get New Shades in India

Yamaha India introduced new colour shades for the company's best-selling motorcycles FZ, FZ-S and Fazer, to woo the customers in the country.

All three bikes have been introduced with new colours along with new graphics. While the Fazer will get three colours - terrain white, wilderness black and ravine red, the FZ will come in panther black, raider red and ambush blue shades. The FZ-S will come in pouncing black, preying red, and hawk eye gold colours.

Under the hood, all three bikes retain the same powertrain, 153cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which can churn out maximum power of 14 PS at 7500 rpm, peak torque of 13.6Nm and mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The Fazer is priced at ₹77,351, FZ is priced at ₹70,411 and FZ-S is available for ₹72,385 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

"The new colours have been introduced to suit the need of customers who are always looking at upgrading to a more stylish product to match their ever changing fashion statement and personality," TOI quoted the company.

In March, Yamaha's R15 version 2.0 also got new colours in India. The R15 is now available in four shades - red, invincible black, blue and grid gold. While the red and invincible black come with a price tag of ₹1,10,003 (ex-showroom Delhi), the racing blue and grid gold are priced at ₹1,12,924 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Earlier last week, Bajaj also launched new colour schemes for its Pulsar 180 and 220F in India. Both Pulsar 180 and 220 F will come in three new colour schemes - metallic white, sapphire blue and cocktail wine red, and the bikes will continue to be powered by the same engines.

Pulsar 180, powered by 180cc 4-stroke DTS-i engine, which can churn out 16.7bhp and 14Nm of peak torque will be marketed for the same price ₹68,537 and the 220F, which draws its power from 220cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine, will come at ₹79,838 (ex-showroom, Pune).
