Another HTC M8 variant is leaked on the Internet. Notable device source @evleaks shared an image of the HTC M8 Ace with the red colour option on social networking site Twitter.

The HTC M8 Ace appears to have the familiar smartphone design of the HTC One M8 from the rounded corners to the HTC logo underneath the screen display. The Phone Dog report noted that the screen of the HTC M8 variant in the leaked image appears to be blurred but it looks like a green Sense 6 screenshot comparable to the HTC One M8 press images released.

According to the Trusted Reviews report, other features of the HTC M8 Ace shown in the leaked image include the front-facing camera and accompanying light sensor. Additionally, the red hue for the HTC M8 Ace makes the device more appealing to the device enthusiasts who wish to have more colour options to choose from since the HTC One M8 currently offers the grey, silver and gold colours.

However, there are no other details available on the leaked HTC M8 Ace. "Unfortunately for us and the rest of the world, the HTC M8 Ace that @evleaks showed is nothing much to look at - other than the fact that the overall design does not seem to veer too far away from the HTC One M8," the Ubergizmo report noted.

The Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer has not given any comment as well to confirm or deny the reports on the HTC M8 variant. Meanwhile, the HTC One M8 officially launched last March boasts with the 5-inch Super LCD3 capacitive touch screen display with 1920x1080p resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, the 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm MSM8974AB Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, HTC Sense 6 UI, Adreno 330 GPU and runs on the Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS.

Other HTC One M8 features and specs include the 4MP primary camera with dual-LED flash, a 5MP secondary camera, the internal storage capacities of 16GB or 32GB that can be expanded up to 128GB through the available microSD card slot, the 2600mAh non-removable Li-Po battery and the colour options of Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver and Amber Gold.
