Swades Foundation, an NGO founded by Ronnie and Zarina Screwvala, will host a fund raising event at the Hotel Palladium in Mumbai on 10 April. This NGO focuses on empowering people living in rural India.

Filmmaker Karan Johar will host the fund raising event in Mumbai. Among the biggies, megastar Amitabh Bachchan will attend the event as the guest of honour. Bollywood actress Jaya Bachchan is also expected to attend the event.

"I am very excited as well as nervous to be organising a fundraiser of this magnitude. We have a perfect blend of films, fashion and art at the auction table. It is an interesting mix of things. And I would call them 'Money Can't Buy' experiences," Zarina told PTI, reported Indian Express.

Swades Foundation also offers their donors to have dinner at Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao's home, attend Pucci Fashion Show as their VIP guest in Milano and holiday trip to Champagne in France.

Apart from that, the evening will also see an auction where unique experiences and products from luxury and art will be auctioned.

Leading ladies of Bollywood and other celebrities including Sonakshi Sinha, Bipashsa Basu, Neha Dhupia, Dia Mirza, Malaika Arora Khan, Shiamak Davar, Leander Paes and Ayan Mukherjee among others will walk the ramp.

The celebrities will walk ramp with villagers of Raigadh, where the NGO works, according to PTI.
