RGV is known for making popular horror films including "Bhoot", "Ek Hasina Thi", "Raatri", "Deyyam" and "Marri Chettu" among others.

While "Patta Pagalu" trailer has generated lot of positive pre-release buzz about the film, it remains to be seen if the horror flick will be able to impress the audience.

The film's shooting has reportedly been completed and the post-production work is going on in full swing. Rajasekhar has produced the film and the actor would be hoping to resurrect his film career with the RGV directorial.

"Patta Pagalu" is expected to hit the screens in May as a summer treat for fans.

Meanwhile, the director's latest release "Rowdy" has opened to mixed reviews from critics. The film starring Mohan Babu and Vishnu Manchu is a crime drama set in the backdrop of Rayalaseema region. The film reportedly earned ₹4.13 crore share on its first day. To get area-wise breakup of the film's collections, click HERE.
