Oh, sugar! "The Lord of the Rings" actor Orlando Bloom unveiled his star on Hollywood "Walk of Fame" with son Flynn. The father and son tandem looked as sweet as the giant blue lollipop Flynn had been eating at the unveiling of his father's greatest career accomplishment in Hollywood, Los Angeles, Calif. on Wednesday, April 2, 2014.

The British actor looked totally ready to receive his star in his blue suit and crisp white shirt while Flynn wears a pin-striped button-down that made the young one looked like Orlando Bloom's mini-me. Regarding the giant blue lollipop, Bloom spoke about it with the press.

"I got a star right in front of a sweet shop and he is obsessed and mad for candy right now, so he was excited for that. Trying to keep him from having too much, though," Bloom told E! News.

Aside from Flynn, Bloom's parents Sonia and Colin Stone was also reported to have attended the event. Actor Forest Whitaker was also seen in support of the British actor. Whitaker and Bloom are considered buddies. Both actors appeared in the 2013 thriller movie "Zulu."

During Bloom's speech at the ceremony, he was caught thanking a lot of people including his former wife and Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr. The latter, however, was not seen in sight. Bloom was reported to have broken up with Kerr in October 2013.

Kerr admitted that she is now dating and loving it, while Bloom shared that he still has love for former wife. The former couple was reported to have decided to respect each other and stay happy despite the differences that were revealed between them as it appears that they still have one thing in common which is their 3-year-old son Flynn.

"I'm really never gonna push him in any direction," Bloom told ontheredcarpet.com with regards to his son Flynn's career. "I really want him just to find his own thing in life and whatever that may be, I won't stand in the way, if that's what he wanted but I'd never push him into it."

Currently, the 37-year-old actor is reported to be preparing for his comeback as Legolas in the upcoming movie "The Hobbit: There and Back Again" which will be in theatres on Dec. 17, 2014 in the U.S. The actor will be joined by Benedict Cumberbatch, Lee Pace, Cate Blanchett, Martin Freeman and many more.
