Upton's co-star Mann revealed to Yahoo Movies that the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit veteran model is an expert when it comes to getting sexy in the sand and running in the beach. "She knows how to run in a bathing suit," said Mann. "She said she knows how to do it and not bounce too much," she added.
Diaz also said that Upton "is a professional."
Upton plays Amber, one of the other women in the movie. The plot revolves around Diaz who discovered that her boyfriend Mark, played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, is married. Diaz then developed an unlikely friendship with the wife who is being portrayed by Mann. They soon find out that they weren't the only women in Mark's life after discovering the he was having another affair with Amber. All three of them come together as a team to achieve a common goal, and that is to seek revenge and get even with the deceitful cheating husband-boyfriend. Upton, Diaz and Mann make the weirdest trio of friends, all teaming up to even the score and punish the man who had cheated them.
The movie also stars Nicki Minaj, Lisa Mafia, Taylor Kinney and Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo. The cast and crew started filming on April 29, 2013. It will be shown in U.S. theaters on April 25, 2014.
This wouldn't be the first time that Upton has starred in a movie. In the 2012 remake of slapstick comedy movie The Three Stooges, Upton played a nun. The movie was criticised by the president of the Catholic League anti-defamation organisation Bill Donohue, releasing a statement saying that the movie rudely represents the Catholics, especially nuns. There was one scene when Upton comes up from the pool donning a sexy bathing suit still wearing a coif. The directors of the film had to reshoot the scene just to resolve the dispute.
With Upton's latest movie role in the highly-anticipated comedy flick, she probably wouldn't have to deal with any predicaments. It will be exciting to see Upton debut in her major acting role and see if she can pull it off well like she does on her sexy pictorials.
