"Teen Wolf" fans said their sad goodbye to female lead character Allison Argent (Cyrstal Reed) in the Season 3 finale but the latest reports on the brand new Season 4 tease that "Girl Power" in the MTV series will still be alive. In an interview with E!Online, creator and executive producer Jeff Davis revealed that a friendship between Kira (Arden Cho), Lydia (Holland Roden) and Malia (Shelley Hennig)will develop next season.

"We have this trio of girls who are becoming a very powerful part of the show, which is just awesome," Mr Davis stated. The MTV series creator admitted that he and the writers did not know if Malia will be a part of Season 4 until a couple of months ago.

"We were hopeful that Shelley wanted to do it and we sowed the seeds for the possibility of her coming back, but it was unexpected and a very unexpected and nice surprise. We're very happy she's doing the show," Jeff Davis shared.

Aside from the "Girl Power" that will happen in Season 4, Jeff Davis continued to talk about the love story of the "Teen Wolf" characters. The Hypable report claims fans are sensing that Lydia and Malia will have a conflict since the banshee has been Stiles' (Dylan O'Brien) longtime crush but Jeff Davis revealed that he is not a big fan of love triangles so there will be no hard feelings between Lydia and Malia just like Kira and Allison who both became special to Scott (Tyler Posey).

Jeff Davis further talked about the Scott-Kira relationship in Season 4 where it will move forward in a slow phase because of the death of Scott's first love, Allison. Mr Davis explained that the two will be struggling in finding their romantic connection because Kira and Scott do not know what to do.

According to the series creater, Kira does not know how much space she can give Scott while the teenage werewolf deals with falling in love but wanting to respect the girl he first love who died in his arms. As for the premiere date of the new season, "Teen Wolf" Season 4 is scheduled to return on Monday night, June 23, at 10 pm on MTV.
