MacBook Air with Retina Display Release in 2014, 12-Inch Model to Follow

Fresh and latest Apple rumours say that the company is preparing to release a new MacBook Air with Retina display in the next 6 months of 2014. These rumours claimed to say that Apple will be releasing its new device later this year.

According to Digitimes, one of Apple's Taiwan-based supply chain makers announced that the tech company will release brand-new MacBook Air with Retina display in the second half of 2014. A number of Apple rumours are already released from this publication, many of these are inaccurate. Let's say that there is still a doubt, but here is a report from Digitimes.

In accordance with the interview with some of Apple's Taiwan-based supply chain makers, "MacBook shipments in 2014 are likely to drop by about 15% from 12 million units in 2013 to 10 million units or even 9.9 million units", the Web site stated.

The sources said, "MacBook shipments in January-February 2014 were as expected, but Apple has significantly decreased shipments in March".
