The Google Nexus 6 release date might happen in July and its base device might be the LG G3, which will be released in June 18 to 19.
LG B2 is the codename of the LG Hero, which is the same device that will arrive in June. LG is prepping to compete with the recently released Samsung Galaxy S5 and the upcoming iPhone 6. The next flagship device from Samsung will make its way in April 11, while the iPhone 6 is expected to hit the shelves in the fall.
What is exciting about the upcoming LG device is that, it is coming with a twin, which could possibly the Google Nexus 6.
In June 24, Google is expected to take the stage at the Developers Conference to launch its new products and services. It is possible that the Android 4.5 will grab the limelight in this event and it is also likely that the Google Nexus 6 will be the first device to sport this new OS.
Provided that the aforementioned events will take place, the Google Nexus 6 will go live through the Google Play Store a couple of weeks after the announcement. As such, the Google Nexus 6 is expected to be available on July.
The Google Nexus 6 is expected to come with a myriad of killer specs and features. It is expected to sport a tough metal casing, 5.5 inches display with Gorilla Glass protection, 2k resolution at 2560 x 1440. Similar to the Samsung Galaxy S5, the Google Nexus 6 will also be coming with an IP67 certification, which means that it will be dust-proof and water-resistant.
Under the hood, this beast of a device will sport a quad-core Qualcomm processing chip with Snapdragon 805 or 810 with 64bit mobile computing. Also, the CP is expected to work with Adreno graphic engine with a jaw-dropping 4GB of RAM.
Like its predecessors, one of the biggest selling points of the Google Nexus 6 will be the price tag, which could be between $350 and $400.
