"#RaginiMMS2 Fri 8.43 cr, Sat 7.29 cr, Sun 8.78 cr. Total: Rs 24.5 cr nett. India biz," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

The opening day collection of the film was high, but on second day the business declined. However on the third day the business picked up again.

India-Pakistan and India-West Indies cricket matches was held on Friday and Sunday, but surprisingly the earnings of the film were high on both the days.

The film is going housefull at certain circuits in India and multiplexes as well as single screen have registered good occupancy.

On Saturday, the collection from multiplexes went down, but it picked up the pace next day. At certain circuits there have been long queue at the theater just to buy the ticket.

Along with "Ragini MMS 2," three other films "Lakshmi", "Aankho Dekhi" and "Gang of Ghosts" were released. But the other three films failed to make a mark at the domestic box office.

"Lakshmi" and "Aankho Dekhi" are relying only with the positive word of mouth as both the films were not promoted. But "Gang of Ghosts" has failed to attract audiences towards it.

The horror comedy which has ensemble cast started on a lack luster note in India.

Meanwhile, this week, the horror thriller "Ragini MMS 2" is set to dominate the box office followed by "Queen".
