India will be keen to find their winning momentum when they take on England in their final World T20 2014 warm-up.

MS Dhoni and co. suffered a five-run defeat at the hands of Sri Lanka in their first practice match in Mirpur on Monday, and the 2007 World T20 champions will want to bounce back from that loss with a win over England.

England, themselves, are struggling considerably in the T20 format, and were thumped by West Indies in their first warm-up on Tuesday, but the Three Lions will be boosted by the return of skipper Stuart Broad, who is expected to feature after sitting out the final two T20Is at West Indies and the first warm-up game against the same opposition.

"I had an injection on my knee last week so they normally take eight to ten days," Broad said on Monday after England's arrival in Bangladesh. "We left Barbados on Friday afternoon and didn't get here until last night, so it was quite a long way to travel and we had to manage that.

"I have not actually run since I had the injection yet but I would say I will definitely play against India."

England have come under much criticism for their lack of batting firepower in the T20 format, with the side managing to hit just one six in the loss to the West Indies. Eoin Morgan, who stood-in as captain for England in the absence of Broad, though feels this team does have the necessary requirements to go all the way in the World T20.

"We have a range of options which is a good thing," Morgan said on Tuesday after the seven-wicket defeat to WI. "Moeen [Ali] is at three at the moment and he offers us some off spin too. Wrighty [Luke Wright] has done it too and been pretty solid. We are quite versatile and flexible and that can be dangerous when we fire. It's a strength of ours.

"We've always been quite adamant about playing warm-ups as competitive games and trying to get confidence by winning those games. Since 2010-11 Ashes we've always made these games as competitive as we can because we feel we get more out of it that way.

"The last game at Mirpur early on it didn't bounce and later on it carried through. It's about adjusting accordingly. I've scored some runs there in the past but it can vary on the surface and what time of day you bat. "

India were not exactly impressive against Sri Lanka either, even if the bowling department did reasonably well to restrict Sri Lanka to just 153. However, in the run chase plenty of batsmen got decent starts but could not carry on to see their team through to the end, with India falling short marginally.

Of course the result might have been different had Dhoni come into bat, with the best finisher in the game deciding against getting a hit out in the middle.

R Ashwin was quite impressive with the ball and the off-spinner's form will be vital to India's chances, while Amit Mishra, despite being expensive, also showed he could be useful in the tournament.

The pace bowlers did reasonably well as well, even if they did go for a few in the final overs, and if India can get their batting together, then they will be a formidable unit going forward.
