Sri Lanka and West Indies will look to fine tune their games one final time before the Super 10 stage when the two sides meet in a World T20 2014 warm-up in Mirpur.

Both sides won their opening warm-up matches, with Sri Lanka edging India on Monday, while the West Indies cruised past England a day later.

The pressure will be on the West Indies to defend their title, and if the performance in the warm-up against England is anything to go by, then they looked primed for another assault at the crown.

Chasing 132 to win, after England could only manage 131 for seven from their 20 overs, West Indies cruised to a victory with a ball under four overs to spare. Chris Gayle found some good form in the middle, scoring 58 from 38 balls, an ominous sign for every other team in the tournament.

Sri Lanka were also impressive enough against India, posting 153 in the first innings, before restricting India to 148.

The likes of Mahela Jayawardene and Dinesh Chandimal got a decent hit in the middle, but Sri Lanka will be keen to give Tillakaratne Dilshan, who only managed 9 from 20 balls in the first warm-up, as much time as possible with the bat, as the opener looks to find some much-needed form after missing the Asia Cup through injury.

Both teams will rely on their spin attacks in this tournament, with Sri Lanka having plenty of options via Sachitra Senanayake, Ajantha Mendis and Rangana Herath, who was impressive in the warm-up win against India.

The likes of Sunil Narine, Samuel Badree and Krishmar Santokie will look to make an impression for the West Indies, with Narine expecting spin to play a big part in the World T20 2014 in Bangladesh.

"Spinners will play a key role but I think at the end of the day it will be whole team effort," Narine said. "I think all of our guys are keen on taking the challenge.

"We have a good bunch of guys going out there and we will give it our all. With Badree in the team and Santokie, I think that's a good combination. I think it sets the right tone and they tend to always pick up early wickets so it makes it easier on me later in the game."
