Prince William while celebrating St. Patrick's Day on Monday cleared the rumours and stated the royal couple is not expecting a second baby.
There were speculations like Kate Middleton is expecting a second baby, Prince George is getting a little sister, the Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant with twins, while even her change in diet was revealed.
However, putting all the rumours to rest, the Duke of Cambridge has now said that they are not expecting a second baby anytime soon.
The couple visited the 1st Battalion Irish Guards, at Mons Barracks in Aldershot on Monday for the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade, where they were asked about the pregnancy news.
Regimental Sergeant Major Ray Collister asked Prince William whether the second baby is on the way, to which he replied saying: "Maybe one day. One's enough at the moment."
Ray later told the Daily Mail: "He said maybe when there's time."
Rumours of Middleton's pregnancy started doing the rounds in January, when celebrity gossip magazine Star reported on its cover page that the Duchess is three months pregnant.
The magazine further went on to report that the couple is expecting a baby girl.
"Little George is getting a sister, and Kate is absolutely thrilled," a source, who claims to be close to the royal couple, told the Star magazine, according to Hollywood Life.
"[Kate] was really hoping the next child would be a girl, and having it confirmed has just given her best start to the year. Kate and William are ecstatic!"
But Prince William's revelation has now put an end to all the rumours surrounding the second baby.
