Kangana Ranaut's "Queen" had extraordinary second weekend. Instead of falling down, the film showed tremendous growth in its business on second weekend too.

The earning of second weekend is better than the first weekend income at domestic box office. On first Friday, the film raked in ₹1.75 crore and on second, it raked in ₹2.15 crore. On first Saturday, the film raked in around ₹3.5 crore, while on second it minted ₹3.75 crore.

The film has shown upward trend after a sluggish start on day one.

"#Queen Fri 1.75 cr, Sat 3.50 cr, Sun 4.75 cr, Mon 2.05 cr, Tue 2.15 cr, Wed 2.30 cr, Thu 2.30 cr. Total: ₹ 18.80 cr nett," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

"#Queen [Week 2] Fri 2.15 cr, Sat 3.75 cr. Grand total: ₹ 24.75 cr nett. India biz."

In most of the circuits, the film remained housefull even in its second weekend. This is rarest of the rare case. The second Sunday business is expected to be as high as first Sunday in Indian markets.

The last time a film witnessed such a strong collection is when "Vivah" was released in 2006, according to boxofficeindia.com.

After strong second weekend, the film is heading for a rock-steady second week.

Meanwhile, Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Juhi Chawla starrer "Gulaab Gang" had a poor second weekend. The film, which had strong pre-release buzz, has failed to live up to that expectation.

The third film "Total Siyapaa" is a complete disaster. The romantic comedy film starring Ali Zafar and Yami Gautam had a poor first week and it failed to show any growth in second weekend too.
