Sivakarthikeyan-Hansika Starrer ‘Maan Karate’ Trailer, Audio Released

The audio and trailer of Sivakarthikeyan-Hansika starrer "Maan Karate" was released in a grand event at Chennai's Sathyam Cinemas on Sunday morning.

The launch was attended by the film's cast and crew, including Sivakarthikeyan, Hansika, director Thirukumaran, music composer Anirudh, AR Murugadoss, Sathish, Soori, lyricist Madhan Karky and "Gana" Bala among others.
Director Shankar, music composer Deva and Producer Council President KR were also present at the occasion. A large number of fans had also thronged the venue of the launch.
There are five tracks in "Maan Karate", composed by Anirudh. Sivakarthikeyan has crooned a number, along with Paravai Muniyamma, whereas Shruti Haasan has rendered a melodious number with Anirudh. "Maan Karate," touted as a sports film, will have Siva and Hansika in the lead roles. Other cast members include Sindhu Tolani, comedian Satish, Soori and Vamsi Krishna.
Expectations are high on the film, thanks to the presence of Sivakarthikeyan, who is currently on a roll with back-to-back successful films. A small teaser of the film that released on 14 February had generated a lot of buzz among fans. Now, the trailer has increased the hype surrounding the film. It remains to be seen if the film will be able to impress the audience and perform well at the box office.
"Maan Karate" story has been written by Murugadoss, while screenplay and direction is by Thirukumaran (a former associate of Murugadoss). The film's cinematography is handled by Sukumar, whereas editing is done by Sreekar Prasad. It is produced by Madhan under Escape Artists banner.
The Siva starrer is gearing up for release in April 2014.
