If latest reports are to be believed, then one of the world's most famous couple Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan might have been approached for a guest appearance in the comedy show.

However, reports say that the couple won't be able to make it to the show due to some contractual obligations the Bachchans have with another television channel.

"They are excited about it, but due to some contractual obligations the Bachchans have with another channel, they may not be able to appear on the show. Both Amitabh and Jaya are making their fiction debuts on TV soon on Sony, while "Mad In India" is aired on Star Plus," DNA quoted a source as saying.

However, it's not sure how Aishwarya and Abhishek are under this contractual obligations.

The show which airs on Star Plus has opened lukewarm response and it failed to entertain the audiences. The makers changed the format of the show little bit, but it didn't help.

One of the ways to increase the TRP of the show is to bring in famous A-list Bollywood celebrities.

The show has seen celebrities such as Govinda, Karishma Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Harman Baweja among others. But it failed to fetch the limelight which "Comedy Nights with Kapil" enjoy.

However, if Aishwarya-Abhishek agrees to come on the show, then the show would get the highest TRP of all time.
