Zlatan Ibrahimovic will look to inflict further pain on Bayer Leverkusen when PSG host the German side in the last 16 second leg of the Champions League.

Ibrahimovic and PSG were at their dominant best in the first leg in Germany, putting Leverkusen to the sword to pick up a very-difficult-to-overcome 4-0 win.

Leverkusen will know they stand little to no chance of overturning the deficit and will probably look to minimise the damage in the second leg in Paris.

"We have played three very high-profile matches this season in the competition, two against Manchester United and the home leg versus Paris," Leverkusen manager Sami Hyypia said. "Each time, we played with a bit of fear, so we need to approach this match better.

"This is a new experience for me and I'm trying to learn as much as I can from every situation, this one included. It's not easy to have an influence on the game from the bench. The team needs to build confidence and self-belief, and one way to do so could be with a good performance here.

"I've never known such comebacks, neither as a coach nor as a player. I will not say we're going to win 4-0 or 5-0, but let's focus on delivering a good performance, both offensively and defensively. We will play to win, and aim to play without fear and impose our game. Of course it'll be very hard to win, but our goal is at least to deliver a good performance."

For PSG manager Laurent Blanc it will be about asking his players to stay professional and ensure they don't let too much complacency  creep in.

"We don't necessarily fear anything about this match -- we prepare for every fixture to win it," Blanc said. "We respect these opponents, just like we respect every opponent. Each Champions League game requires thorough preparation. We're playing at home, so we'll have to take the game to them like we did in the away leg.

"We'll have to remain vigilant as they lost 4-0 at home in the first leg [and will want to bounce back from that defeat]."

Team news: PSG: Edinson Cavani could return to the lineup for the French champions after missing the 3-0 win over Bastia at the weekend owing to personal reasons. Ibrahimovic has been passed fit, but might be rested and Blanc revealed he would not risk a few players struggling with niggles.

"Zlatan, who had back problems, is much better, but Marco [Verratti], Gregory [Van Der Wiel] and Blaise [Matuidi] will not play," the manager said. "The team will be a competitive lineup [but] there will certainly be changes from the team that won in Bastia."

Bayer Leverkusen: Hyypia was dealt a further injury blow with Jen Hegeler tearing a ligament in his right ankle which puts him alongside Robbie Kruse on the long-term injury list. Lars Bender, Stefan Reinartz and Omer Toprak are major doubts, while Emir Spahic is suspended after picking up a red card in the first leg.
