2 Broke Girls is a CBS series about two broke roommates who dream of owning a cupcake empire one day. On Wednesday, March 5, Lohan and the network announced the actress will soon be joining Dennings and Behrs.
According to New York Daily News, Lohan has launched an "all out assault" to revive her tv career, which includes the 2 Broke Girls celebrity guest role and the launch her reality series on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network.
2 Broke Girls has been known to feature celebrities like Martha Stewart and Piers Morgan, both appearing on previous episodes. Lohan is set to appear on the show's April 14 episode.
Meanwhile, the first episode of Lohan's reality show was aired on Sunday, March 9 on OWN. The show opened with Oprah telling Lohan to get her life together.
"This is exactly what everybody said was going to happen and I believed differently," Winfrey said. "You need to cut the "bulls--t."
In May 2007, Lohan got arrested for DUI and spent 45 days at Promises Treatment Center in Malibu. In July of the same year, she was again arrested again for DUI and cocaine possession. In August, she entered rehab for the third time. The actress got out of Cirque Lodge in October and served 84 minutes in jail in November.
In July 2010, the Mean Girls star was ordered to complete an outpatient rehab program after she violated her probation, and was sent to Reagan UCLA Medical Center, and later discharged.
For Lohan's fifth rehab, the actress had to spend it at Betty Ford Center. But she was moved to Cliffside Malibu, a different rehab facility.
At present, aside from her reality series on OWN and 2 Broke Girls guest's role, Lohan has to undergo therapy until November 2014 as ordered by the judge in charge of the Mean Girls' star case.
