The message from his office has come just hours after the Election Commission of India had announced the dates for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, which will be held in nine phases. The polls will start from 7 April till 12 May, while the counting of votes will take place on 16 May. In Andhra Pradesh, the election will held on 30 April and 7 May.
