The buzz over some of the Tamil film industry's biggest stars and their films seem to grow almost every day.

Vijay-Murugadoss Film to Release for Diwali 2014?

Vijay-Murugadoss's film, which kicked off in early February, is progressing at a brisk pace. The film's team has completed their schedules in Kolkata, Chennai and Rajahmundry. They are now having a small break and will reportedly begin their next schedule in Hyderabad soon.

The film's shooting is expected to complete by July or August. If it all goes well, the Vijay starrer might hit the screens for Diwali 2014, reported Behindwoods.

It may be recalled that in 2012, Vijay had a release each for Pongal ("Nanban") and Diwali ("Thuppakki"). Both the films turned out to be big hit at the box office. Buzz is that, it might get repeated this year as well. Vijay's "Jilla" hit the screens for Pongal 2014 and his upcoming film with AR Murugadoss might make its way to the theatres for Diwali. However, there is no official confirmation in this regard.

Ajith to Restart Fan Clubs?

Actor Ajith, who dissolved his fan club few years ago, is said to be contemplating to restart it again.

The fantastic opening that his last release "Veeram" has received made the actor to realise the significance of fan clubs, according to a report in Cinemalead.

However, an official announcement on the same is still awaited.

Meanwhile, Ajith is busy working in the gym to get a slim look for his new film with Gautham Menon. The film is expected to go on floors in the second week of March.

Rajinikanth to Announce his New Film at "Kochadaiiyaan" Audio Launch

Buzz is that superstar Rajinikanth might announce his next project at the "Kochadaiiyaan" audio launch, which is to be held on 9 March.

It is being speculated that Rajinikanth will be teaming up with director KS Ravikumar, who has worked with the actor in films such as "Muthu" and "Padayappa." Ravikumar has reportedly narrated a storyline by his assistant Ponkumaran and the superstar is said to have been impressed with it.

The actor has reportedly asked Ravikumar to complete the full script and finish the project within five months.

These are just rumours and an official announcement on the project is still awaited.

Suriya's Anjaan Shooting in Mumbai

Suriya's "Anjaan" shooting is progressing at a brisk pace, and the film's team has already shot majority of the portions.

The Suriya starrer's next schedule will reportedly be rolling out in Mumbai from Wednesday (5 March).

Suriya's looks in the film has generated a lot of buzz among his fans. The actor will reportedly sport two different looks, but there is no official confirmation on the same.

The Lingusamy directorial is expected to release on 15 August.

Did Simbu Announce Breakup with Hansika While Shooting for "Vaalu"?

Last week, Simbu created buzz by announcing his breakup with "Singam 2" actress Hansika.

It is being said that Simbu and Hansika were shooting together for "Vaalu" in Hyderabad on the day when Simbu's PR sent the press release to the media.

"Simbu and Hansika were shooting in Hyderabad for "Vaalu" that day and even shot scenes together after the press release was sent to the media by Simbu's PR. They were cordial towards each other on the set and there was no feeling of resentment between them," a source told The Times of India.

"Vaalu" has been in the making for more than a year. The film, directed by Vijay Chander, is likely to hit the screens on 1 May.
