People have been vying for "The Wolf of Wall Street" actor Leonardo DiCaprio to win this year's Oscars. It was something that Leonardo already had in his pocket but it seems that yet again this year the Academy Awards shied away from the actor.

Fans on the social networking site, Twitter, didn't fail the star as they had the hashtag "#PoorLeo" trend after the look on the actor's face was shown when "The Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence announced the Best Actor winner. This is DiCaprio's 4th loss in the Academy Awards after being nominated for a lot of times. People were sure that he would be able to bag the award this year but it seems that Matthew McConaughey was just a tad better than Leonardo.

Hashtags on Twitter such "#GiveLeoAnOscar" these were posted on the social networking site accompanied by photos of the star looking sad or crying at not winning the prestigious award. McConaughey and DiCaprio had a scene in the Oscar nominated movie, "The Wolf of Wall Street" and fans have captured the moment showing DiCaprio and McConaughey talking with each other, it was captioned "Don't worry Leo, you'll get one next time."

Leonardo was nominated as Best Actor for various movies at the Academy Awards and has yet to win an Oscar of his own. Another man that many are starting to think is somewhat like Leonardo is Johnny Depp, both not having won any Oscars despite their phenomenal roles in the movies they have played in.

We wonder when Leonardo will get that Oscar; maybe it is time that Leonardo try a different approach to his roles. Fans have said that maybe this year it would be Leonardo DiCaprio's at winning an Oscar. Let's see if the actor would win it next year, he did mention that he isn't in acting to win prizes but because he loves to act.
