Jennifer Lawrence missed out the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress to Lupita Nyong'o but does that mean the 23-year-old had any hard feelings towards Lupita? Not at all

The moment Lupita walked back to backstage, it was Jennifer, who first congratulated her for the win.

The two then even indulged in a mock fight, with Jennifer trying to snatch the Academy Award away from Lupita, who can be seen struggling hard to keep it with her.

While Jennifer, who won Best Actress last year, lost out on the Oscar this time, the gesture shows what really matters in the end is comradeship.

It seems for Lupita, the Oscars was not just about the awards. She made some new friends and also had much to offer back to the Academy and her fellow actors.

Lupita made Kenya proud with the win but as a gift to her country, the "12 Years a Slave" actress has now officially made Naibori Blue an accepted color palette.

Lupita hit the Oscar red carpet, wearing a custom Prada light blue silk georgette gown with a deep V-neck top and low cut sides. Speaking on the choice of color, the Kenyan actress said it reminds her of Nairobi. And that's when Nairobi Blue became a trending acceptable color.

Also, here is the Oscar acceptance speech by Lupita that moved many to tears.

"Thank you to the Academy for this incredible recognition. It doesn't escape me for one moment that so much joy in my life is thanks to so much pain in someone else's, so I want to salute the spirit of Patsey for her guidance and for Solomon, thank you for telling her story and your own.

"Steve McQueen: You charge everything you fashion with a breath of your own spirit, thank you so much for putting me in this position. It has been the joy of my life. I'm certain that the dead are standing above you and watching and they're grateful and so am I.

"Chiwetel, thank you for your fearlessness, and how deeply you went into Solomon's story. Michael Fassbender, thank you so much, you are my rock. Alfre and Sarah, it was a thrill to work with you. Joe Walker, the invisible performer in the editing room, thank you. [Other assorted people involved with the movie], thank you thank you thank you, I could not be here without you.

"I want to thank my family for your training and the Yale School of Drama for your training. My friends, the Wilsons, this one's for you! My brother, Junior, sitting by my side, thank you so much. You are my best friend, and Ben my other best friend, my chosen family.

"When I look down at this golden statue, may it remind me and every little child that your dreams are valid. Thank you."
