"The Big Bang Theory" Season 7 Episode 17 is titled "The Friendship Turbulence" and it is dedicated to the 'not so great' friendship between Howard and Sheldon, and their attempt to be better friends.

The synopsis of the episode suggests that it is Bernadette who tries to broker a truce between Sheldon and Howard. According to the spoilers leaked online, Bernadette wants to know why Sheldon is always mean to her husband. Sheldon is set to tell Bernadette about the ten years of torture from Howard.

In the promo of the episode, Howard can be seen saying to Sheldon, "I was thinking you and I can be better friends." Sheldon seems to disagree, as he thinks that the kind of friendship that they have is a bit much. The promo also provides a glimpse of Howard and Sheldon flying together and the plane shaking. The plane turbulence might erase the turbulence in their relationship.

The episode will also feature Amy helping Raj with his online profile site. The girl called Emily contacts Raj. However, she will not be happy to know that Raj used Amy's help. Emily and Amy's will have common interests. Amy is likely to put a word for Raj, but the man will spoil his chance, the spoilers suggest.

Meanwhile, Penny will get a role in the sequel of Serial Apist. She will turn it down but will regret the decision, as her car breaks-down. Penny decides to go back to work at Cheesecake Factory. However, Leonard presents her a new car so that she can continue going to auditions, according to the spoilers.
