Micromax Canvas Blaze HD, Canvas Duet II Released Online; Price and Availability Details

Indigenous smartphone maker Micromax appears to be on a launching spree. The company has listed two mid-range smartphones - the Canvas Blaze HD and Canvas Duet II on the company's official website.

Micromax Canvas Blaze HD EG116

Micromax Canvas Blaze HD is believed to be the legatee of Micromax's Canvas Blaze smartphone, which was launched in December 2013.Though the website listing of the smartphone did not reveal the details of the pricing and the availability of the handset in Indian market, reports suggest that like its predecessor, the Canvas Blaze HD EG116 will also reach the retails shelves through telecom service provider MTS.

Micromax Canvas Blaze HD EG116 sports 5-inch IPS display with a 720x1280 pixels resolution, and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. It is powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It supports dual SIM functionality and packs 4GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded by upto 32 GB with microSD card. In terms o f the image snapper, the successor of Canvas Blaze comes equipped with 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone is loaded with 2000 mAh battery, which claims to deliver upto 150 hours of standby time and upto 5 hours of talktime. Connectivity options of the smartphone include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB.

Micromax Canvas Duet II EG111

Micromax Canvas Duet II EG111 features a 5.3-inch HD display with a 720x1280 pixels resolution and is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek (MTK 6572M) processor. The smartphone runs on  Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. Inside, the handset packs 1GB of RAM and comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of a microSD card. On the connectivity front, Canvas Duet II supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE, GPS and EVDO REV A and is backed by 2300mAh battery that claims 180 hours of standby time and up to 6 hours of talk time. Other features of the phone include 8-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, P/L sensor and G-sensor. The phone is available at Flipkart with a price tag of ₹15,790.
