The supporters of south Indian political leader J Jayalalithaa created quite a sensation on her birthday, after they floated the town with doctored posters of world leaders saluting, bowing and revering the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
Jayalalithaa, addressed popularly by her supporters as 'Amma' (meaning 'mother'), can be seen walking past some prominent world leaders, including US President Barack Obama, his predecessor George Bush and Japanase Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, standing in reverence, in the hoarding put by her supporters.

Jayalalithaa, whose party All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) always has played a crucial role by being a kingmaker in the Indian parliament, is now being touted by her supporters as a prime ministerial candidate. In another hoarding put up by her supporters, Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapakse can be seen kneeling before the Tamil Nadu CM.
Tamil Nadu, which has a not-so-friendly relations with Sri Lanka, has always been opposed to the Indian government's soft stand on Sri Lanka. The words on the hoarding says: “This is how our PM should be. Who can be so, other than our Amma? Think, people!”.
