Indigenous technology start-up company, Wickedleak has released 'Passion X', claimed to be the world's first true water-proof smartphone.
The new phone boasts of AquaProtect, a molecular nano-coating on internal and external components, enabling the device not only to survive in water (up to 30 minutes), but water based liquids like coffee, fruit juices and other beverages.
Other notable feature of Wammy Passion X is that it packs 1.7GHz Octa-core processor, only the second local smartphone after Intex's 'Aqua Octa' to boast of this kind of CPU.
Passion X sports a 5.0-inch full HD (1920x1080p) IPS screen with OGS technology and ships with the Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS, 2GB RAM, 16 GB inbuilt storage (expandable up to 64GB), 13.0-megapixel main camera, 5.0-megapixel snapper on the front and a 2500 mAh battery capable of running the smartphone for two to three days under standby mode.
Interested buyers can purchase the Wammy Passion X at the company's official e-Store for ₹22,499.
