No-we are not talking about an imminent marriage for the two; what we're talking about is the confirmed team up of pop star Rihanna and well-renowned Eminem for their tour titled "The Monster Tour." The tour is named after the duo's single in Eminem's album called the "The Marshall Matters LP 2." The two have already teamed up in what was to become hit single "Love the Way you Lie" which has stayed on the billboards for quite some time.
Ready for some Rihanna and Eminem action?
According to Perez Hilton, Eminem admitted in an interview that, "There are some shows coming up with Rihanna. It's a three-city tour: New York, L.A., and Detroit coming in August. The Monster Tour."
In other news, Rihanna just celebrated her 26th birthday with her close friends in the snowy mass in Aspen, Colorado. The star did not fail to update her fans about the intimate get-together as she posted several pics on her Instagram account for the whole world to see. Rihanna sported an orange mid-riff bustier, as she let her olive black hair down.
Meanwhile, Eminem reacted to 50 Cent's departure in Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records. The two started out in the same records company and have collaborated over a lot of projects during the course of their careers. In an interview with the Associated Press, Eminem expressed his sadness over 50 Cent's departure from the major record label saying that, "Both myself and Shady Records are grateful to have had the chance to play a part in 50's career."
50 Cent also did not fail to showcase his gratitude to Eminem's record label saying that, "I have had great success to date with Shady/Aftermath/Interscope and I'd like to thank Eminem and Dr. Dre for giving me an incredible opportunity...I've learned so much from them through the years. I am excited to enter this new era where I can carry out my creative vision."
Well, despite the sad split of the two, at least fans have a union to look forward to-that's right, Eminem and Rihanna are sure to bring down the house in LA, New York and Detroit!
