The long-rumoured Nokia X aka Normandy Android smartphone is all set to finally see the light of day at the upcoming MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2014.

The Finnish company today released the MWC 2014 live webcast invitation with a graphical teaser image of 'X'.  In the invitation, we see four black arrows pointing at each other forming alphabet 'X' and another striking thing to note is that the invitation is splashed with the ominous color green, the very same shade shared by Google's 'Android Bot', leading many to believe that the world will finally witness the debut of Nokia's first ever Android smartphone.

Last week, Nokia even refurbished the company's Facebook page with green color, a tell tale sign of what's in store for the fans this month.

Rumours of Nokia's android project Normandy aka 'Nokia X' has been twirling in the internet for quite a while now and a Vietnamese online retailer 'Mai Nguyen' even disclosed the price and feature details of the device. It said the phone would cost anywhere between 2.2 million to 2.5 million VND (Vietnamese Dong), around ₹6,500-to- ₹7,380 (or $100).

It reportedly sports a 4.0-inch WVGA (480x800p) TFT screen having pixel density 285 ppi (pixels per inch) and runs on the 1GHz Snapdragon 200 series dual-core processor with 512MB RAM and 4GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB).

It is to be noted that Nokia X is expected run on a forked Android OS version integrated with company's HERE applications and Microsoft's tile based interface like we see on in the Windows phone OS based Lumia handsets.
