Season two of “House of Cards” has some serious twists and turns that left viewers engrossed in the series, when it was released through Netflix on Valentine’s Day.

But what many wouldn’t have expected was a threesome between Claire Underwood (Robin Wright), Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) and their Secret Service agent Edward Meechum (Nathan Darrow).

The scene saw Frank and Meechum kiss, and it confirmed viewers’ suspicion about Frank being bisexual. While the first season of the series shed light on Frank’s involvement with men during his college days, not many thought he would seduce a Secret Service agent.

While the jury is still out on if it was a moment of recklessness on the part of Frank and Claire, or if it was a calculated move, microblogging site Twitter was abuzz with queries on if Frank is gay, soon after the episode was aired.

Undoubtedly, Frank and Claire have a strong marriage. But the lack of any intimate scenes between the couple has only fuelled this speculation.
