Fans are eagerly waiting to get updates about the Ajith-Gautham Menon project and one of the most-anticipated aspects of the film is its music. There has been a lot of buzz as to who would be composing the songs for the Ajith starrer.
Oscar winner AR Rahman and youth sensation Anirudh were reportedly the fore runners to compose the soundtracks for the project. But, now reports have emerged that Anirudh will be working on the film's music.
The composer, who attained national fame with "3" music, has confirmed that he will be composing the music for the Ajith-Gautham Menon project during a recent media interaction, reported Cinemalead. It seems that Rahman, who is currently working on Gautham's film with Simbu, could not allot time to do another project within a short period. However, an official announcement regarding the film's music composer is yet to be made.
Ajith-Gautham's untitled flick is one of the most-awaited films of 2014. The film has a lot of "firsts" - Ajith-Gautham's combo, Ajith-Anushka pair and Anushka-Gautham combo. If Anirudh is officially confirmed to do the project, it will be another first for the director and the music composer.
The film is expected to go on floors in the second week of March. Gautham has reportedly completed the film's script work, and the team is waiting for Ajith who is working hard in the gym to get the slim, toned look required for his role.
