The next installment of the popular movie series - "The Amazing Spiderman" 2 is going to hit the cinemas by April or May, depending on the country. Peter Parker faces one of the most powerful enemies he has ever faced.

"The Amazing Spiderman" 2 will mark the return of Harry Osborn and the rise of a new enemy - Electro. The movie promises a lot of action and the continuing dilemma Peter Parker must face living a dual life.

The movie asks the fundamental question - is OsCorp the source of all evil in New York City? Readers will remember that Dr. Curt Connors in the previous movie tried to spread the lizard like mutation through a chemical from the OsCorp tower.

In "The Amazing Spiderman" 2 Peter Parker finds that there is a common thread that connects all the villains he has faced so far and that common thread is OsCorp. Is Electro a creation of the company? And will the movie focus on corporate greed in America? The theme is a popular one in Hollywood with many movies showing the undercurrents of corporate greed.

The movie promises excellent graphics, especially the graphics of the main villain Electro. Fans are waiting to see the action sequence in the movie as Spiderman and Electro face off in battle.

"The Amazing Spiderman" 2 brings the characteristic witty humour of the masked hero and he is seen calling Electro "Yo, sparkles!" The Daily Bugle will continue to find faults with everything that Peter Parker does.

The cast of the movie includes Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Jamie Foxx as Max Dillion, Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn, Campbell Scot as Richard Parker, Embeth Davidtz as Mary Parker, Colm Feore as Donald Menken, Paul Glamattl as Aleksei Sytsevich and Sally Field as Aunt Mary.

"The Amazing Spiderman" 2 will be releasing on May 2 in the U.S and Canada, on 17 April in Australia, 18 April in the U.K and 24 April in New Zealand. The movie has a huge fan following and is expected to do well in the theatres.
