Fans have been eagerly waiting to get updates about the untitled film and here is something to cheer them up.
Latest buzz doing the rounds in Kollywood is that the Ajith-Gautham Menon film will start rolling from March. Ajith has gone through the draft version of Gautham's script and has asked him to come up with a bounded script, according to Sify.
The untitled film was expected to go on floors on 15 February. "Very happy to be back at shoot after almost a year of waiting. STR now(day and night)and looking forward to AJITH sir from february 15th," directror Gautham Menon had tweeted last November.
However, the film did not roll as per the scheduled date. Few days ago, Gautham posted one more tweet saying, "Announcement and details about the film with ajith in a week's time. Please wait..Hang on.. And Thank you for the overwhelming enthusiasm.."
But, so far, there has been no official announcement regarding the Ajith starrer. According to certain reports, the film's script demands Ajith to sport a slim look and the actor has already started hitting the gym to reduce weight. Gautham and his team are reportedly waiting for Ajith to get the desired look before commencing the project. The film is expected to kick off in the second week of March.
Anushka Shetty will be playing the female lead, whereas details about the other cast and crew members are still awaited. The film will be produced by AM Ratnam, who also produced Ajith's blockbuster film "Arrambam" last year.
Speculations are rife as to who would be the music composer for the Gautham directorial. According to reports, Oscar winner AR Rahman and latest sensation Anirudh are the fore runners to compose the songs for the Ajith starrer. However, there is no official confirmation regarding the same.
