Earlier in the week, specifications of the rumored new-generation Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 series tablets got leaked to the internet; now the same devices have made their way to the US telecommunication certifying website, almost confirming their existence.

Samsung community website SamMobile, while leafing through the US government-owned FCC (Federal Communication Commission) website, stumbled up on a document, containing Samsung's yet-to-be-released tablets, code named SM-T530 (aka Galaxy Tab 4 10.1) and SM-T330 (aka Galaxy Tab 4 8.0).

In the leaked archive, there were only schematic diagrams of the devices, revealing just the position of the rear-camera. Though we did not get to know any key features, FCC's file sure does confirm the existence of the Galaxy Tab 4 devices, and if history is any guide, these devices are certain to make their debut very soon, like the Galaxy TabPro tablets, which made their debut soon after they got certified by the FCC.

With Samsung Unpacked 5 event just a few days away, many are betting that the Galaxy Tab 4 series devices may get launched along with Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Gear 2 on 24 February. The very same day the MWC (Mobile World Congress) kicks-off at Barcelona.

Besides the differences in size and camera features, Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 and 8.0 are said to boast pretty much the same specifications, such as WXGA (1280x800p) TFT display, 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, Android v4.4 KitKat OS, 1.5GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt memory (expandable).

Apart from above two tablets, Samsung is also rumored to launch a smaller device Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. It reportedly houses a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB memory (expandable up to 64GB), 3.0-megapixel main camera, 1.3-megapixel snapper at the front and a 4500 mAh battery.
