After dancing away to the audience's heart in her long span career, the actress has now turned to singing.
Madhuri has reportedly sung for a folk track along with her mother Snehlata Dixit for the film. The actress's mother is a trained classical singer and is said to have hummed several lines.
The song titled 'Rangi Sari Gulaabi Chunariya' has been composed by the "Gulaab Gang" director Soumik Sen.
However, this isn't the first time Madhuri has crooned for a track. The gorgeous actress had previously mouthed the initial lines in Devdas's classical song "Kahe Chaed".
With the actress singing a full-fledged track, she joins the likes of other celebrities who have done the same for their films.
Amitabh Bachchan has sung in several of his films like "Lawaaris", "Silsila", "Baghban", "Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam," "Bhootnath" and several others.
The multi-talented Farhan Akhtar lent his voice to super hit songs like 'Mere Laundry Ka Ek Bill", "Tum Ho Toh" in his 2008 hit "Rock On!" and also the "Senorita" song from "Zindegi Na Milegi Dobara."
Aamir Khan sang the famous "Aaati Ka Khandala" track from "Ghulaam". He has also sung in movies like "Mela", "Taare Zammen Par", "sarfarosh" and "Mangal Pandey."
Sridevi lent her voice to "O Meri Chandini" from her film "Chandini" (1989).
Shah Rukh Khan voiced the rowdy yet funny "Apun Bola" song from "Josh."
Juhi Chawla's classical training helped her when she recorded alongside Amitabh Bachchan for "Bhootnath."
Akshay Kumar also became singer in "Special Chabbis" when he dedicated the love ballad "Mujh Mein Tu" to his lovely wife Twinkle Khanna.
Big B's son Abhishek Bachchan tried rapping in "Right Here Right Now Track" from "Bluffmaster."
