New Xperia smartphone has leaked after an image revealed near-zero and ultra-thin bezel. Based on the leaked camera snapshot, the Xperia handset runs the latest Xperia Home UI hitting new generation of Sony mobile devices. Is this Sirius or Xperia Z Ultra 2 or something better?

Mystery Xperia Smartphone

Sony already confirmed several new Xperia devices for 2014, including Xperia Z1S, Xperia Z1 Compact, Xperia Z Ultra Tablet, Xperia E1 and Xperia T2 Ultra. But there were still more coming this year and we hadn't been able to see yet how Xperia Sirius really looked like.

A camera snapshot captured another Xperia smartphone which intriguingly featured an ultrathin bezel. Oddly, it could be noticed the quality is blurred and hardly read text details on app icons in the homescreen but you can see the wallpaper captured by the camera. It looked like similar to new wallpapers expected to be released on Android 4.4 KitKat update and what's included on Xperia Sirius smartphone.

It was unknown if the camera used to capture it acting faulty or intended to hide clear details regarding the smartphone. In addition to the ultrathin bezel, new wallpaper and blur quality, it also appeared to be a very large smartphone that could reach up to 6-inches diagonally.

Some rumors pointed it could be the upcoming second generation of Xperia Z Ultra since it's little off compared to Sirius. Leaked image may pinpoint another large screen Xperia phone or Z Ultra 2 itself.

Xperia Sirius or Z Ultra 2?

Several occasions have leaked the alleged Xperia Sirius which features very close design with Xperia Z1.

-    In January, camera photo samples from Sirius have been compared with Z1 using Superior auto.

-    Design and exterior look of Sirius were also spotted online showing the rear and buttons of the device.

-    XDA iRimas confirmed 5.2-inch of display size, 20.7 MP camera and thinner size of Sirius than Z1.

-    AnTuTu benchmarking detected Sony D6503, which is the alleged Xperia Sirius that scored 29745 points along with other new generation of Xperia devices.

-    Specs detail leaked such as 3 GB RAM, Android KitKat OS and several new apps online.

But if you match the blurry image capture and the leaked exterior images of alleged Sirius, the ultra-thin bezel doesn't match which could mean it is another upcoming handset.

Based on the comparison of Z Ultra and T2 Ultra, several specs don't actually match and T2 Ultra is way off to include improvements on Z Ultra. It means that the leaked camera snapshots deny Xperia T2 Ultra as Z Ultra successor and Z Ultra 2 may be coming this year with near-zero bezel - if not, something better than Sirius and Z Ultra 2.
