The 40-year-old was named the fourth most beautiful women, after Monica Belluci, Kate Upton and Angelina Jolie, in a recent survey by Hollywood Buzz. Expressing her gratitude, Aishwarya thanked her fan base for the recognition.

"The result of this poll was brought to my notice in fact by my well wishers. It is overwhelming to hear that over four million people across the globe have voted and listed me amongst their top choices with such beautiful and talented women. A huge loving thank you to all my well-wishers for making me smile and always being there for me," PTI quoted the actress.

Aishwarya has always been a regular name in global surveys. Over the years, the 1994 Miss World has won numerous honours, with respect to her beauty, as well as her achievements.

The actress exudes an indelible charm and personality and has apparently over 17,000 websites dedicated to her. She has also been honoured in the list of most powerful women, and her cause as a UN Goodwill ambassador has been prominent in recent times.

A well-known face of French cosmetic major L'Oreal Paris for several years, the "Jodhaa Akbar" actress recently welcomed Katrina Kaif onboard.

"I would like to extend a warm welcome to Katrina to the L'Oreal Paris family. I am sure she will enjoy representing team India as brand ambassador and I wish her the very best," Indiatimes quoted Aishwarya as saying.

Katrina joined Aishwarya, Sonam Kapoor and Freida Pinto as the brand's India face.
