Fans have been eagerly waiting for AMC to release the official synopsis and title of "The Walking Dead" season 4 episode 9. After the mind-blasting prison battle in episode 8, fans have been waiting with bated breaths for episode 9 to kick the second-half of "TWD" season 4. February 9 is around the corner, but AMC has not yet release the official title or synopsis for that matter.

According to Daily Dead, the title of "The Walking Dead" season 4 episode 9 is "After." The description reads - "As Rick deals with old wounds, members of the prison have to come to terms with their new environment and ask themselves if survival alone is enough."

Daily Dead also mentioned that Norman Reedus will take part in a live Twitter Q&A before the February 9th premiere.

On a different note Entertainment Weekly shared a short review of episode 9. It states that the episode is focusing on Carl as Rick is injured and recovering from the prison war. It also talked about a flashback dream scene which can be linked to Rick's old wounds.

AMC released a general synopsis for "The Walking Dead" season 4 second-half episodes.

"Following the devastating events of the midseason finale, Rick and the group are still reeling from the loss of their home, family, and friends. With the destruction of the prison, we see the group of survivors broken apart and sent on divergent paths, unsure of everyone else's fate. What was a challenging life behind fences and walls grows that much more perilous and precious as they are exposed to new dangers, new enemies, and heartbreaking choices. They will have their faith thoroughly tested -- a faith that breaks some of them and redeems others."

However, fans will have to wait for the official title and synopsis for "The Walking Dead" season 4 episode 9.

The new episodes of "TWD" season 4 airs Sunday, February 9, 2014 on AMC at 9 p.m. ET.
