Both the devices run on the Android Jelly Bean operating system, which can be upgraded to the KitKat version. The HTC One has 2 GB of RAM whereas the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has 3 GB of RAM.

Camera

The HTC One sports a 4 MP primary camera with autofocus, optical image stabilization and LED flash. The secondary camera on the device is 2.1 MP. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 sports a 13 MP primary camera with autofocus and LED flash. The secondary camera on the device is 2 MP.

Battery

The HTC One comes with a non-removable Li-Po 2300 mAh battery, which allows for a talk time of about 18 hours on 3G. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 comes with a Li-Ion 3200 mAh battery, which allows for a talk time of about 21 hours on 3G.
