Salman Khan finally wrapped the shooting of his much-awaited film "Jai Ho" on Saturday.
Salman, along with the leading lady of the film Daisy Shah, were present on the sets of "Jai Ho" for the last scheduled shoot, which took place at the Mehboob Studio in Mumbai. The action drama is set to hit the screens on 24 January.
Apart from the lead stars of the film, Salman's sister Alvira was also spotted at Mehboob.
Salman was seen in several attires starting from black T-shirt to yellow and orange shirts. The 48-year-old actor has been working hard these days to finish the shooting of his new film.
"Jai Ho" is Salman's first film in more than a year. His last film "Dabangg 2" was released in December 2012.
"Jai Ho" is a remake of Telugu film "Stalin", which had Chiranjeevi in the lead role. "Jai Ho", directed by Salman's brother Sohail Khan, also features Tabu, Danny Denzongpa and Sana Khan in important roles.
The trailer of the film was released on 15 December and received positive responses from viewers but got embroiled in a controversy. According to reports, the trailer was copied from Hollywood flick "Pay It Forward" (2000). The starting part of the trailer, which shows Salman drawing a tree sorts on paper, is said to resemble a scene from "Pay It Forward", where a child draws the same on a board.
However, when a newspaper asked Sohail about the scene being lifted from the Hollywood film, he replied: "I am only aware of Stalin and currently I am busy with the film's post production"
Meanwhile, expectations are riding high on "Jai Ho" to smash the box office records of "Dhoom3".
