Arsenal are known for their classy style on the pitch, with the Gunners also showing some fighting qualities to pull off a last-gasp 2-0 victory over Cardiff in the English Premier League on New Year's Day.
The Gunners showed they have plenty of class outside the white lines of the pitch as well as Lukas Podolski posted a picture on his Facebook page of him and his teammates posing with a shirt saying "Get well soon Schumi" in the locker room after dispatching Cardiff to remain top of the English Premier League table.
The message was for Podolski's fellow German Michael Schumacher, who is in critical condition after suffering head injuries following a ski accident at the weekend.
The seven-time Formula One champion has received an outpouring of support from fans and people from various avenues of sport, with Schumacher's condition improving in the last couple of days, while still remaining critical.
"His condition remains stable this morning. At the moment this is good news but I don't want to go into further prospects as it is too early. He is still in an artificial coma," Schumacher's agent Sabine Kehm said on Wednesday at the hospital in Grenoble where the F1 legend is being treated.
Kehm also implored the media and the rest of the public to respect Schumacher and his family's privacy after security guards claimed they stopped a reporter, dressed as a priest, from entering the German's room.
"Security got him before he came close ... I don't want to go into details of what exactly we are doing security-wise," Kehm said. "However I can assure you there is security because we do have constant attempts from media and people to come close."
"They have the possibility to see him and be close to him so that is nice," Kehm said while adding Schumacher's wife Corinna and children Mick and Gina-Marie are constantly at his bedside, while younger brother Ralf, also a Formula One driver, paid a visit. "There is always someone with him."
