Sex dolls could withstand high altitudes, deep freezing temperatures and high winds, according to an experiment made in mid-December by CNB.com, a California-based adult toy maker.

The Toronto Sun reported on Tuesday that CNB sent a blow-up female sex doll called Missy into space, using a 4.5-pound hydrogen-filled balloon. It recorded the journey as the sex toy reached 100,000 feet which had -70 degree Celsius temperature and jet streams of over 160 kilometres per hour and cosmic ray radiation as well.

However, when Missy reentered the atmosphere, she blew apart and landed in pieces in the Nevada desert.

Dave Levine, owner of CNB, wrote, quoted by the Toronto Sun, "Three high-definition cameras recorded up to altitudes of approximately 60,000 feet, yielding the best video of a sex toy in space ever."

Here is the video.

Despite the scientific nature of the experiment, it nevertheless drew snide remarks in the comments section of the Canadian newspaper probably because of the doll's original purpose.

Ithinkthere4Iyam wrote, "Surprising that a sex doll couldn't handle re-entry," while Hallry Ballsak explained, "That's because they are designed for rear-entry."

While StnCld_316 noted that the experiment, which he describes as an idiotic measure, "never cost the taxpayer a dime," 4girly commented, "What a waste of a perfectly good sex doll. Don't they know that there are sex starved perverts in Africa without sex dolls," and then added, "That's why that meth head was masturbating in the bar, they sent his girlfriend into space."

To which Kenny retorted, "There's my blow-up doll ex girlfriend. She told me she needed her space."

Finally, the commenters segued to their controversial mayor as Lois Lane wrote, "Her arms are long enough to fir around Rob Ford. Is she edible also?" clirey replied, "Rob has enough to eat at home."
