Late Paul Walker was known for being a down to earth celebrity, true human being, and great philanthropist. His philosophy of giving and work with his aid organization "Reach Out Worldwide" led to his being listed one of the top celebrities of 2013 by DoSomething.org.

The yearly list of DoSomething.org has 20 celebrities on it and Walker is ranking fourth, the site stated about late philanthropist; "It's said that only the good die young and Paul Walker was one of the best. The late actor/producer dedicated a lot of his time to helping those affected by natural disasters. In fact, he founded a charity that works to do just that. Reach Out World-wide (ROWW) is a network of professionals with first responder skills (think: doctors, nurses, fire-fighters, paramedics, and other disaster-survival specialists). These professionals work to immediately fulfil the unmet need in times of chaos, tragedy, and destruction."

"Instead of just writing a check, we're seeing how much more bang for the buck we can get by giving of ourselves and spending every dollar on the cause," "As tragic as the disasters are, people consistently rise above the bleakness by focusing on what they still have. It gives you a lot of hope," stated Walker in an interview with  Merrill Lynch.

"Paul said that what he saved in expenses covered all of his racing costs last year," "Becoming a foundation means it can accept donations, which in turn allows Paul to scale up his philanthropy," said Rodas (co-founder of ROWW) in an interview with  Merrill Lynch.

Walker's philosophy was summarized best by his official Facebook page  after being named to the list:"I don't go where people are. I go where the people aren't."  Click here to learn more about ROWW.
