After officially announcing his retirement, Justin Bieber gave a sweet surprise to his fans by singing four different songs for them. The 19-year-old singer posted a video of his songs on Instagram on Dec. 25. The video does not show Justin's face but you can hear his serenading voice.

As a Christmas gift to his fans Justin sang "You Smile," "Confident," "Swap It Out," and "Catching Feelings" for his fans. Before posting the video Justin Bieber tweeted, "My beloved beliebers I'm officially retiring."

Justin is apparently tired of media attention he has got post Selena break-up and he is looking for a way to get away from the all the negativity.  Regarding the unwanted media attention Justin tweeted, "Media talks a lot about me. They make up a lot of lies and want me to fail. But I am never leaving you, being a Belieber is a lifestyle. "

This tweet of Justin's has confused us and we are still not sure whether he is retiring or not. According to few tabloids, Justin's retirement rumors are a hoax and that he is not planning to go anywhere soon. However, various sources claim that Justin is not happy with the way this year has been.

Justin told MTV news during the premiere of his movie "Believe" that he needs to take time off for his sister and brother.  He is seriously missing his family and it seems in these emotional times he needs them the most.

Meanwhile, Selena Gomez has given a statement that she wants to leave show biz as she needs some time off. Just like Justin, Selena is also going through an emotional upheaval. She recently cancelled her Australian tour and now she has announced hat she wants to take some time off for herself to be a better person.

Both Justin and Selena have gone though a lot since their break-up. We hope that soon they get their peace and that the year 2014 turns out be a better year for the ex couple.
